Please note: This page is still under construction!!

Back around April of 2010, there have been speculated rumors of a Marvel VS. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (MvC3:FTW) to be announced at Capcom's Captivate '10 in Hawaii. This was confirmed and slowly the character roster was leaked and revealed. Amidst the lineup, Hiryu happened to be one of the characters on the 'leaked characters' list, but was deconfirmed due to not being able to fit in the game's concept.

On July 21, 2011 Capcom announces Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3 at San Diego's Comic Con (SDCC) 2011. The new game will be released at a lower price of $39.99 and is set to be released around November 2011. It will feature 8 new stages, 12 new characters, a refined fighting system, Spectator mode during online gameplay, as well as DLC (which have yet to be announced.)

Strider Hiryu has been officially announced as one of the new characters added to the roster. T.J Storm does the English voice for Strider Hiryu in Ultimate Marvel VS. Capcom 3. The character voice for the Japanese version is revealed to be Ueda Yuuji (うえだゆうじ).
He will retain his original costume from the MvC series, however a new model of him in his original Strider outfit has been seen. This will be a part of the New Age of Heroes DLC costume pack available when you preorder from Amazon.com. During the Tokyo Games Show (TGS), Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is announced to be released on the PS Vita.
